Cesc Fabregas reveals best player he played with for the Blues, and is asked to pick between Manchester United and Liverpool midfield greats

Cesc Fabregas took away some of the lockdown boredom by hosting a question and answer session on Twitter this afternoon. The former Chelsea midfielder answered a number questions put to him by eager fans

The Spaniard was asked who was the best player he played with at each of his clubs. No real surprise with his answers. Thierry Henry from his time at Arsenal, Lionel Messi from his spell with Barcelona, Eden Hazard from his time at Stamford Bridge, and former Blue Radamel Falcao at his current club, Monaco.

One probing question asked Fabregas to choose between Steven Gerrard, and Paul Scholes. The midfielder decided to sit firmly on the fence with his answer.

Well played Cesc, well played. Amongst the other questions, the 32-year-old also named Brazilian legend, Ronaldo as the player he wished he’d played alongside.

The Spaniard also managed to have a make a joke about Diego Costa, when responding to a question about assists.

It’s always refreshing to hear footballers responding to fans. Even more so with the current situation. Well done Cesc Fabregas for putting a smile on people’s faces.
