The Daily Mail (citing reports in Spain) are claiming Chelsea could be amongst clubs vying for the signature of Barcelona attacker, Antoine Greizmann.
The Frenchman only joined the La Liga giants last year, in a £108m move from Atletico Madrid. The report suggests the 29-year-old would be made available for around £90m. A small loss on Barcelona’s part.
Greizmann has appeared 37-times for Blaugrana, scoring 14-goals, and contributing four-assists. The French international hasn’t performed as well as expected.
The winger has great vision, and technique, with a wonderful left-foot. His attributes would certainly be a great addition to the Blues squad. However, younger talent in the guise of Jadon Sancho, would prove a better long-term option.
Pedro and Willian look set to leave when their contracts expire, but the Blues do have Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic, and new boy Hakim Ziyech to fill the side roles as it stands for next season.
PSG and Manchester United are also likely to make a move, as the report states. Many other clubs are likely to show an interest, should the Frenchman become available.
