Swansea’s recent form suggest Chelsea favourites to win two nil

Chelsea’s recent record against Swansea is not good, but they are long odds-on at a top priced 1.36 with Ladbrokes and William Hill to beat them at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have won none of their last four matches against the Swans in all competitions (D3 L1) but do come into the game in far better form than their opponents who have won only one of their six games since winning the Capital One Cup.

The Welsh side simply seem to have run out a steam as the season draws to a close, and an on-song Chelsea should prove far too strong for them.

Frank Lampard needs to score in this match he will equal Andy Cole’s record of scoring against 38 different teams in the Premier League, and he is a 7 chance with bet365 in the first goalscorer market and a tasty looking 2.5 with Betfred to net anytime.

Those prices look a bit of value, especially when you consider that Fernando Torres heads the first goalscorer market at a general price of 5 despite the fact that he has now gone 997 minutes without a goal in the top flight.

Petr Cech needs one more clean sheet to take third place in the outright list of Premier League clean sheets.

He has the best clean sheet ratio (0.49) of any goalkeeper in Premier League history (140 in 287 apps), and with that in mind Chelsea to win to nil at a standout 2.6 with Coral looks well worth considering given that they are as short as even money (2) to do so elsewhere.

In the correct score market I like the look of a 2-0 win for Chelsea at the 8 on offer with BetVictor.
