So, the transfer market is open but are Chelsea planning to dip into it? Well, according to Marca we are.
Real Madrid and Manchester United may well be after the Spurs man, but rumour has it Chelsea plan to open their bidding at €45M. I know, I know, we’ve been down this road before and come up against a dead end but Harry was around then. Personally, I won’t get as excited about this particular rumour as I did last time but we’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out.
Of course, another London-linked player for Chelsea is Arsenal’s Theo Walcott. With this one, we’re allegedly up against PSG for the 22 year old but we apparently fancy our chances with an offer in the region of £15 million. Walcott has just one year left on his current contract and hasn’t come close to agreeing anything further with Arsenal yet, so the window for him remains ajar.
