Some of us might think Gary Cahill is completely taking the piss with his rumoured wage demands but it seems Andre Villas-Boas is a little more patient – either that or he’s just being diplomatic.
Cahill has been rumoured to be ‘on his way’ to Chelsea from Bolton for some time and given the time it has taken so far, we can only assume he’s walking but whilst we’re all sitting here tapping our toes in anticipation of his arrival, the Chelsea boss says “It is still an ongoing negotiation, not that we don’t want it resolved as soon as possible. I’m sure that all of the parties are protecting their interests.”
Hopefully he’ll thumb a lift soon.
