It sounds as if Nicolas Anelka is almost certain to be playing his football in China from January, with Sky Sports telling us a deal has been agreed with Shanghai Shenhua.
Representatives from the Asian side had suggested yesterday they were optimistic a deal could be agreed and Sky Sports suggest terms have now been agreed. The club were looking to take Anelka on a three-year deal although Anelka will apparently sign for two, with a salary reportedly in excess of £6m.
