Inter Milan: Sneijder Staying, Drogba Going?

According to Sky Sports News this morning, Inter Milan have made it clear Sneijder will not be going to Manchester United – or anywhere else for that matter.

The suggestion is that Sneijder was never leaving in the first place and certainly, if Eto’o was to go, there’s no way they’d consider letting Sneijder out the door as well. So that’s the end of that little storyline then….well, not where Chelsea are concerned it isn’t because, what we’re hearing is that Eto’o will be going – and Inter have their eye on Didier Drogba as a replacement.

Drogba, who spent the majority of the opening day for Chelsea on the bench, hasn’t negotiated a new contract with us and with Fernando Torres starting to show shades of his former self, the Ivorian won’t necessarily fancy hanging around to fight for a starting place.

The only sticking point for Inter, who were after a sneaky loan deal, would be a lack of funds although rumour has it they may be able to offer £6million if they offload Goran Pandev.
