Chelsea: Time For The Drop?

As we are all fully aware, Chelsea are not going through the greatest of times at the moment. There are many theories, most that are irrelevant, but the fact of the matter is we are under-performing.

Now I may not be as experienced in management like Mr Ancelotti but a move to the sidelines may benefit some of our first team players who are taking their places for granted. For example, Ramires is still adapting but maybe someone should be getting the chance to prove themself in this time of the mini crisis.

Just a thought mind you. Take Drogba for instance. Sat on the bench recently and then was brought on and scored. Ancelotti needs to tighten up, bring in some new faces and drop some players to the bench to ensure that they are working for their first team places.

Now in this time of unfortunate point loss, we have very little excuses to use to show why we aren’t winning games. I mean, last season we were Essien-less and this one we are not. Lampard is now back, Terry too. Cech is fine. Drogba is still recovering from malaria but apart from that, Chelsea have a pretty much clean bill of health.

The problem still remains a mystery. There is certainly a chance Wilkins departure had an impact but aside from that, the team need to pull together and start the 6-0 scorelines once again!

TCB responds: to be fair Gary, even 1-0 wins would do now.

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
