Chelsea Injuries: Champions League Update

We’ve already got Didier Drogba (virus), Yossi Benayoun (Achilles), Alex (thigh) and Frank Lampard (groin) missing from the squad through injury and now, following a knock against Villa at the weekend, Ramires has joined them with an ankle injury.

Ramires now sits out tonight’s game against Spartak and could be kept company by Essien and Ashley Cole if they don’t come through late fitness tests ahead of the 5.30 kick-off.
