Chelsea Injury Update

Our injury problems don’t look like improving any time soon, with Hilario’s absence costing us midweek and the woe of our defeat only added to seeing one limp off and another stretchered.

The news we’re hearing from that is that Salomon Kalou will certainly miss tomorrow’s game although the injury is not as bad as first thought Benayoun on the other hand is likely to be out for up to a month with a calf injury.

The news on Frank Lampard isn’t good either, with him definitely ruled out against City following a setback in training which could also rule him out against Marseille and Arsenal.

Jose Bosingwa of course, also remains out of contention and no news yet on Gael Kakuta following his withdrawal from Wednesday’s game with a back problem.
