Allardyce or Ancelotti: Did Chelsea Get It Right?

Fancy Sam Allardyce managing Chelsea? Me neither really but he reckons he could do the job.

He might have lasted less than half a season at Newcastle but big Sam insists he would win the title every year if he was in charge at Chelsea.

I still can’t work out whether or not he’s joking, but Allardyce says “I’m not suited to Bolton or Blackburn, I would be more suited to Inter Milan or Real Madrid. It wouldn’t be a problem to me to go and manage those clubs because I would win the double or the league every time. Give me Manchester United or Chelsea and I would do the same, it wouldn’t be a problem. It’s not where I’m suited to, it’s just where I’ve been for most of the time. It’s not a problem to take me into the higher reaches of the Champions League or Premier League and would make my job a lot easier in winning it.”

Reckon I’m happy with Ancelotti for now.

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
