Ancelotti Plays Down Good Start

Carlo Ancelotti only came to the Premier League at the start of last season. He’d had plenty of success before he came, but still, a Premier League and FA Cup double in any manager’s first term might see them gloating a bit. Not so for this particular Chelsea manager.

Even after last season’s success and the start he’s made so far this season, our modest manager insists “Our start means nothing. We have started better than Manchester United but it will be a long race. I said last year that the race is only decided at the end of the season. I will say the same this year. There are moments during the season where you are not lucky. United conceded two goals in the last few minutes today against Everton. It can happen to us the same.”

Bloody hope it doesn’t though eh Carlo?

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
