Ashley Cole may well have more than enough reasons to want to leave England and he may well have the opportunity to do that with interest from former boss Jose Mourinho but according to Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea defender is going nowhere.
Cole has been linked with a £30million move to Real Madrid but Ancelotti insists the 29 year old will be at Chelsea for the new campaign, stating “I didn’t speak with him, I don’t need to speak with him and he doesn’t need to speak to me. He is a player of Chelsea, did a fantastic season for us and will be an important player for us next season. One hundred per cent.”
I hope he’s right but you can’t help wondering how well he really knows Ashley Cole.
