There’ll always be plenty of stories in the press linking us with players here, there and everywhere. Some of them might be questionable, some of them might be believable….and then there’s the ones that just leave you going ‘are you serious???’
There was one of them yesterday about Sergio Ramos, saying Chelsea are offering him £8.3million a year to swap the Bernabeu for Stamford Bridge. I mean, are they kidding? He’s on £2.5million a year right now, and yet we’re rumoured to be ready with a £48 million bid!
We already have Jose Bosingwa (albeit sidelined) not to mention Ivanovic who had a great season last season, who on earth would we be considering that sort of money for a right back, irrespective of how good he is?
