Quick Fix The Only Option For Drogba?

It seems Didier Drogba is struggling a bit with a hernia problem at the moment but whilst there’s no immediate need for panic, because he’s almost certain to make it til the end of the season for us, we can jump up and down a bit after that if he decides to delay surgery until after the World Cup.

It’s not a new thing for Drogba because it’s apparently a problem he’s come up against before but it’s something that’s been niggling him a fair bit lately and you’d have to think the sooner he gets it sorted the better really, and yet, with the World Cup looming, a quick op isn’t exactly a foregone conclusion.

The Ivorian suggests “I underwent surgery for a hernia problem six years ago, and today it is bothering me again. Just before the African Cup of Nations I got a knee to my kidney and the pain returned. I have felt pain ever since then and we can’t go on like this for long. Do I need surgery? I don’t know yet, but we have to do something. Before the World Cup? That is a good question and I don’t have an answer.”

I have an answer for you though Didier – get the surgery out the way so you’re back and fit for us next season!
