Florent Malouda has been in outstanding form lately and it hasn’t gone unnoticed on TheChelseaBlog, with his praises sung on here only a matter of days ago.
In March, Malouda started the month with a goal and two assists in our 4-1 win at home to the Hammers, following this up with a couple of goals to help us chalk up a 5-0 win at Fratton Park. Not done there though, Malouda bagged another brace in the 7-1 win over Villa (with another assist for Lampard), to make it 5 goals for the month and 13 for the season.
Rightly so then, our in-form midfielder has picked up the Barclays Player of the Month award for March and if his performance against Villa yesterday is anything to go by, he could be after a double of his own.
