Ok, so we’ve already had the one about David Beckham following Carlo Ancelotti and now it’s Andrea Pirlo. I guess it’s inevitable really, I mean, didn’t they say exactly the same about Mourinho taking all our players when he left? And did it happen?
But anyway, the thing about Pirlo is that at 30 years old he’s not really going to fit in with the idea of Chelsea reducing the age of the squad. He also comes with a £20million price tag which you’d think was a bit steep for a 30 year old really. Then again, maybe Milan are just trying their luck considering how much we handed over for Shevchecko?
