Ok, so he might not be everyone’s favourite player in the Premier League but Cristiano Ronaldo has certainly gone up in my estimation today. Because, whilst Didier Drogba might have been a little too vocal in his opinion of Barcelona going through against us in the Champions League semi-final, Cristiano Ronaldo has been a little more subtle – although has made his opinion clear nonetheless.
Having gone out of last night’s final against a side who really shouldn’t have been in it to start with, United’s Portuguese star says “It is always bad to lose, whether against Chelsea or Barcelona, who had some luck, as they did not deserve to win the semi-final against Chelsea.”
Good on him.
