Ancelotti Preparing For Chelsea Move?

If the media’s anything to go by, all things seem to be pointing to Carlo Ancelotti  being named Chelsea’s new boss next week.

I mean, he has to make sure Milan beat Roma at the San Siro on Sunday first so their place in next season’s Champions League is sorted but an announcement is rumoured to be imminent after that.

Ancelotti has apparently told ‘friends’ he’s coming to Chelsea and the way he plans to play it is to join Maldini on the pitch after Milan’s final home game on Sunday, in a farewell gesture to the San Siro crowd. However, this isn’t exactly what Chelsea had in mind because with Milan away to Fiorentina next weekend and Chelsea still to play Sunderland this weekend and then Everton in the FA Cup final on May 30th, the preference was to hang on until after these games.

I’m not sure Paolo Maldini, who’s emotional farewell to the home crowd will come after a 24 year career at Milan, will appreciate Ancelotti ‘s plans either to be honest.
