Chelsea’s Gael Kakuta attracted the attention of a couple of Premier League clubs earlier this season and even managed to get himself named in our senior squad against Stoke although sadly, our 17 year old prospect had a bit of a nightmare injury soon after that finished his season.
However, despite Kakuta being out for anywhere between another six to nine months, Olympiakos have apparently approached in the hope of signing him on a two year loan deal. Former Chelsea scout Pelle Andersson is rumoured to have tipped off Olympiakos about Kakuta, who can play either left-wing, attacking midfield or up front, although early reports suggest Chelsea have turned them down, preferring the youngster to stay and develop at Stamford Bridge.
