Do Liverpool players ever do anything but moan when things don’t go their way? Apparently not, if Andriy Voronin, currently on loan at Hertha Berlin is anything to go by.
I mean, what footballer hasn’t had the odd knock here and there? And yet unless it’s something worth making a fuss over, the majority dust themselves down (score depending of course) and get on with it without the need to turn it into a major incident.
Not so Liverpool’s Voronin though, who’s still whingeing on about a clash he had with John Terry in Ukraine’s defeat to England, saying “I still feel awful. My nose is broken, my head is spinning and aching. I haven’t seen the medics yet. I probably need surgery on my nose but I’ll postpone it until the summer. I need to play football. So I’m going to come on the pitch in a special mask as I did before.”
What a bloody hero!
