Chelsea Chasing Another ‘Wonderkid’?

If recent reports are anything to go by, it would seem Chelsea are after another ‘wonderkid’.

16 year old Vaclav Kadlec is regarded as the best thing to come out of the Czech Republic since Tomas Rosicky and according to the press, we’re keeping more than a close eye on the £6million rated youngster.

According to scouts in the Czech Republic, the 5.8ft striker “has almost everything one would desire in a top class striker including timing, a good shot, speed and he is excellent in one-on-one situations.” He’s said to be a “quick and fierce attacker who despite his young age has shown signs of predatory finishing.”

Kadlec’s age doesn’t seem to hold him back, with the supporting striker usually playing above his age group and yet continuing to impress with his maturity and intelligence in front of goal. Not only that, but he’s also said to be a pretty grounded young lad and despite his confidence on the pitch and his potential to become pretty big in Europe, it seems his feet are still firmly on the floor.

The only snag seems to be that he’s considered a bit weak right now although he expects to do something about that in the next couple of seasons – unfortunately in his own country. So whilst Chelsea may be keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge, we might have to be patient.

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
