Drogba Reminiscing – Just Priceless!

Just when you I think I’ve heard it all from Didier Drogba he comes up with another little gem.

So what is it this time? He’s tormented at Chelsea and wants to leave? He loves us and he wants to stay? Actually it’s neither of those (for a change), because this time he’s reminiscing about the Champions League – and what might have been.

On the competition that’s always eluded his boss he says “My desire is greater than ever to win it. We lost two semi-finals and a final.  It has been a difficult competition for us. Moscow is very difficult to forget, I still think about it.  The saddest part for me is the fans. They deserve to win the Champions League and this year we have to play the same way to get to the final but this time bring the trophy back to the Bridge.”

Nice sentiment Didier but what exactly happened last year? And this is where he really surpasses himself, because the Ivorian goes on “I would love to travel back in time and not be sent off in Moscow. If I was on the pitch I would have taken a penalty.  I love taking penalties but sometimes you have to accept this is life.”

Priceless.

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
