Does Mourinho Want His Job Back At Chelsea?

It’s never really surprised me that a pretty large section of Chelsea supporters has failed to let go of the idea of a return for TSO, he is after all, Chelsea’s most successful manager to date and he’s gone out of his way to maintain his god-like status. What surprises me a little more though is that Mourinho himself seems to have failed to move on.

You see even with the Milan derby coming up today, Mourinho still seems to be sidetracked by events at his former club. And despite us having only just installed Guus Hiddink as our manager for the remainder of the season – and maybe even beyond?? Mourinho’s going on about coming back.

The former Chelsea boss was saying only yesterday “If you ask me if one day I think I will return to Chelsea, I will tell you yes I think so, I think so because we were so happy together.  But when I say one day, I am not saying to you when.  I am not there, I am just a supporter from the outside, I’m somebody who wishes them good because it’s a special club for me, I have special friends there.  I belong to their story, they belong to my story so I am not enjoying this period where they have had several managers in one year and a few months.  I hope they find stability and go back to (winning) trophies.”

So, in order to find stability, is he suggesting his return is what we need?

Blue is the colour

TheChelseaBlog.org is an honest insight to the World of Chelsea FC. Not always pretty, sometimes rather cynical, but always realistic.
