As if recent rumours of Alex’s transfer request and Inter’s interest didn’t raise enough question marks about his future, then Michael Mancienne’s return from loan and the latest rumours are definitely making it look as if it’s only a matter of time before the Brazilian leaves Stamford Bridge.
Because, as often seems to be the case, once one club has their eye on a player, just like buses it’s never long before another couple come along.
