Earlier this month we heard Paris Saint Germain manager, Paul Le Guen suggest a return to the club for Nicolas Anelka “wouldn’t be a question of money.” And now, just days away from the opening of the January transfer window, he’s decided to reiterate his desire for the French striker to return to his former club.
Chelsea’s top goal scorer this season started off his career with PSG in 1995, so obviously he has a soft spot for the club, a fact that was duly noted when he took himself off to Middle Eastlands to see them take on Citeh in the Uefa cup.
So, despite his improved form and attitude at Chelsea this season, Le Guen’s hoping the soft spot could be enough to persuade the 29 year old to make yet another career move, stating “I would like Nicolas Anelka to come back to PSG.”
And I would’ve liked a new car for Christmas but that didn’t happen either mate!
