Ricardo Carvalho has been one of Chelsea’s most consistent performers over the past couple of seasons and without a doubt our best defender last campaign. So it’s no surprise he’s been a huge miss this season.
The Chelsea defender had a spell out following injury against Manchester United and no sooner had he got back on the pitch and he was out again after a hamstring went on him against Hull. That was at the end of October and although he was only meant to be out for three weeks, he still hasn’t returned.
However, yesterday brought some good news at last, with Scolari stating “The doctor told me today he would be back in 14 days.”
So, that’s him pencilled in for our trip to Everton on 22 December.
