Finally, it looks as if Chelsea will be able to put the Robinho saga to bed – albeit without their man.
Scolari has repeatedly stated his desire to sign the Brazilian playmaker and Mr Kenyon as per usual spouted his usual BS recently, trying to convince everyone his business acumen would see the player safely delivered to Stamford Bridge in the near future.
Strangely enough for Mr Kenyon though, his confidence that “we’ll get a result” seems to have been unfounded because despite rumoured ‘talks’ earlier in the close season, the player’s agent, Wagner Ribeiro now says the ‘door has been closed’ on the deal because Real Madrid are refusing to even discuss a possible deal.
The Brazilian’s advisor says “The dream of Chelsea is broken because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation. Next summer we will sort out the situation if people can show some sense.”
